SRI Education, in partnership with the University of North Texas, is conducting a research study, CI-STEM, to investigate continuous quality improvement (CQI) practices and STEAM afterschool programming. The 5-year study, which began in the summer of 2019, examines:

The study involves three research activities: 1) A study of the afterschool system and system dynamics, which is ongoing since 2019; 2) Surveys of site staff, site coordinators, and grant managers, which will launch in the winter of 2022; and 3) Case studies of select afterschool sites, which will begin in late spring of 2022.
